What is your return policy?
If you receive an item that is broken due to shipping damage or some other event prior to its arrival, you MUST make a claim within three (3) Business days. If the claim is made within three business days, we will authorize your return, and we will send you a replacement at no additional cost upon receiving the returned item.  We will also reimburse to you your actual return shipping costs.  For orders outside the continental United States, we will issue you a partial refund.

We do reserve the right to make substitutions and do find the need to do so at various times throughout the year. During all summer months, chocolates will be substituted with non-melting products. Also, not all packaging may look identical to the products photographed as packaging colors and shapes change quite frequently. With this in mind please be aware that a substitution or variance in flavor, color or packaging does not justify an item being returned at our expense or a discount of any kind.

If for any reason other than damages or errors on the part of CarePackageToGo, a customer wants to return a gift, they may do so at their own expense plus an additional 20% restocking fee.  All returns must be sent to us prepaid, ALL Shipping and Handling charges are NON-Refundable.
Please contact us, to authorize your return.  No returns will be refunded without prior authorization.

If you are in need of the item, you may elect to have us send the replacement in advance along with the prepaid return shipping label. If this option is elected you will be charged for the entire cost of sending you the replacement in advance. This charge will be refunded once we have received the item being returned. In some cases we may instruct you to hold the item inspection and pickup by the Carrier, such as UPS. In other cases you may be instructed to bring the item with our prepaid return shipping label to the nearest UPS Store or Post Office for drop off.

If the item is returned but determined that it was damaged after its delivery and not prior to its delivery, then the standard return policy will be applied and all of the additional cost will be at your expense. We reserve the right to be the sole determining party as it relates to this policy.

Exceptions:
Health and Beauty items if opened are non-returnable. 
Food products of any type are non-returnable.

How do I know when my order has shipped? We will automatically send you an order confirmation along with a tracking number when your order ships.

How long does it take for an order to ship out? All express orders ship the next business day. All ground orders ship within 72 business hours.

Can I cancel an order after it has shipped? Yes, you may. However there are fees associated with cancelling an order after it has shipped. The following fees will apply: shipping charges to and from the destination and a 20% restocking fee. If we need to request UPS to intercept the delivery there is an additional $12.50 fee.


Do you ship to PO Boxes, APO or FPO addresses?
Yes, we do, but  not every product.  Please email to be sure.  We ship to all Boxes, APO or FPO addresses through the United States Postal Service.


How do your gifts ship? They are shipped UPS or USPS depending on where it is being delivered.


Do you ship internationally? Yes! We do in fact ship to Canada and most countries around the world, but not every product.  Please email to be sure.  Please email us for pricing.

What happens if my gift gets lost or damaged in transit? We will place a claim with the courier. Once the claim has been completed and not before, a refund or reshipment will be offered. Claims typically take 3-5 days to process with the shipping couriers. (Shipments going via USPS do not offer claim service.) All damage claims must be filed in writing via fax or email within 3 business days of the gift being received. NO exceptions. We will not honor damage claims several weeks old under any circumstances.


Can I send a card enclosure or message with the gift?
Yes! We do include a greeting with every gift. You simply enter the message you would like to be sent with the gift on our order form and we send that with your order.
